To promote sustainable development of
freshwater aquaculture in Canada.


Objectives :

  • Create consensus regarding applied research, development and commercialization (RDC) priorities identified by industry stakeholders.

  • Promote applied research, development and commercialization projects and assemble required research and/or technology transfer expertise for execution.

  • Foster the establishment of necessary synergies among various players while avoiding duplication of work and making optimal use of resources.

  • Organize and seek funding for projects that result directly from priorities identified by industry stakeholders.
